Since 1994, Audi has produced the A4. Built as a luxury compact executive car, the Audi A4 was the successor to the 80 series made by Audi. The second generation of the Audi A4 commenced in 2001 and lasted for four years to 2005. The differentiating difference with this generation is the fact that the Audi A4 models in these years were based on the platform of the Volkswagen B6. The Audi A4’s style was enhanced. The engine was also upgraded. These cars also had a new continuously variable transmission option.
